The DF Agency can act as protective agent, normally when other agent is appointed by charters to representing the ship during his stay in port, in this case, the owners can appoint a protective agent to act on his behalf, not only during commercial operations but also to legally representing in case of any conflict or incident.
As protective agent, we assure following services:
- Follow up on operations;
- Costs validation and d/a analysis;
- Monitoring in cases of damages and cargo complaints;
- Follow uo before the P and I;
- Assistance on bunkers and provision delivery;
- Follow up in on / off – hire operations;
